Mubasher: Gold prices declined for the third consecutive day, and ended Thursday’s trade on a lower note despite a decline in the US dollar against major currencies.
The precious metal continued near its lowest levels in 2018, as futures for August delivery fell 0.3% to $1,270.50 per ounce, after reaching $1,262.4 per ounce earlier in the session.
On the other hand, spot gold declined 0.1% to $1,269.54 per ounce.
